Bank of Baroda appoints Sridhar Srinivasan as Shareholder Director

Bank of Baroda announced the appointment of Sridhar Srinivasan as Shareholder Director of the Bank for a period of three years, effective December 12, 2021.

Srinivasan Sridhar, aged 61 years of Mumbai (Maharashtra) is B.Com.(Hons.) and Chartered Accountant having over 33 years of work experience and special knowledge in the fields of Banking, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management and Business Management, the statement said.

An established Board Director with extensive professional experience and executive leadership accomplishments across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Chairperson of board committees for companies ranging from startups to the largest corporations in India, with a focus on management strategy, business transformation, governance, shareholder interests, risk, and regulatory compliance. Active angel investor and mentor for early stage startups, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Bank of Baroda is an Indian nationalised banking and financial services company. It is under the ownership of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
