Global biopharmaceutical company Biocon Limited has announced the appointment of Arun Gupta as Head of Operations.
Arun takes over from Dr. Vijaya Kumar S, Head of Operations at Biocon Limited, who superannuates from service at the end of May, as per company policy.
Arun Gupta will be responsible for manufacturing, projects, MSAT and EHS, for the Generics business, a statement said.
Arun has over three decades of experience in API manufacturing platforms, productivity improvement projects, automation, operational excellence, capacity management and cost improvement programs in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
