Bombay Shaving Company names Gaurav Anand as SVP – sales and marketing

Personal care brand, Bombay Shaving Company (BSC) has appointed Gaurav Anand as Senior Vice President (SVP) – sales and marketing.

Launched in 2016, Bombay Shaving Company is owned by Visage Lines Personal Care Pvt. Ltd. and has a portfolio of over 100 products across shaving, bath and body, skin, and beard care.

Founder and chief executive officer of Visage Lines, Shantanu Deshpande, said, “We are glad to have Gaurav join our leadership team. He has the right mix of large organisation thinking and ability to take agile decisions, which is imperative to scale emerging consumer businesses. His tenure at Reckitt and Zomato, coupled with strong first principles in business make him an asset to our fast-paced, high-growth organisation.”

Previously, the company raised Rs 45 crore in funding led by Global consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser. Other investors that took part in the investment round include HNIs (high net-worth individuals) such as Rajesh Sud from Bharti Enterprises, Anjali Bansal founder of Avaana Capital, and Kuldeep Jain, managing director of CleanMax Energy.
