Canara Bank appoints Ashok Kumar Dash as Functional Head of Stressed Assets and Management Wing

Canara Bank Limited announced the appointment of Ashok Kumar Dash as Functional Head of Stressed Assets and Management Wing of the bank.

According to the bank’s exchange filing, “In furtherance to our above mentioned letter, it is informed to the Stock Exchanges that Shri. Ashok Kumar Dash, General Manager is appointed as Functional Head of Stressed Assets and Management Wing of the bank in place of Shri. P Santhosh, Chief General Manager who has been deputed to National Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (NARCL).”

Ashok Kumar Dash joined Canara Bank on 13/03/1989 as Probationary AEO. He holds a M.Sc (Agriculture) degree and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). During the course of banking career, he has worked in different capacities in different states such as Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Maharashtra, Delhi & Karnataka.

During his illustrious career he has worked in Large Corporate Credit Wing & Large Corporate Branches apart from working in rural & urban/metro General Branches. He has also worked in bigger administrative units viz Delhi & Bengaluru.

He has also worked in Canara Bank, London Branch for more than 3 years. Further, he was working in Large Corporate Credit Wing, HO Bengaluru before his transfer to Stressed Assets Management (SAM) Wing, HO Bengaluru as Wing Head.
