Chennai Ferrous Industries Limited announced the appointment Venkatasubramanian Pichaiswaminathan to its Board of Directors, effective March 16, 2022.
As per the exchange filing, “With reference to the above subject and pursuant to the provisions of Section 161 of the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable provisions of the Act, Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held today approved the appointment of Mr. Venkatasubramanian Pichaiswaminathan (DIN : 09408397) as Additional Director of the Company (Non-Executive, Non-Independent) with effect from 16% March 2022 to hold office up to the date of the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company.”
Venkatasubramanian Pichaiswaminathan is a Bachelor of Law Degree holder from Madurai Kamaraj University with Criminology and Taxation as Specializations. He has extensive experience of more than 2 decades as a practicing Advocate in the High Court of Madras, with specialization to Company affairs and Civil procedures. He has rich and varied experience in various matters relating to Land Reform, Aggregating, Real Estate documents, RERA, SARFAESI, Company Law matters and IBC, the statement said.
Incorporated as a public limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956, Chennai Ferrous Industries Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing sponge iron, which is produced using iron ore.
