Anuranjita Kumar, has been elevated as India HR Head for Citigroup. She would be replacing Stephen Cronin, who would move to a global role.
A statement from Citi India Chief Executive Pramit Jhaveri on the appointment – “With over 17 years of experience at Citigroup, Kumar has a proven track record as a highly effective human resources leader. She brings a wealth of people management experience to the role. I am confident that she will prove to be an asset to our India operations,”
Anuranjita Kumar, is a graduate from XLRI 1994 Batch, she started her career with P&G, and after an initial short stint with P&G, she joined Citibank in 1995. Since then she has been with Citibank and Citigroup in various roles. In her earlier roles she held EMEA (Europe , Middle East & Africa) role and was based out of Citigroup’s London office.
