Biocon Biologics has appointed Deepali Naair as its new Global Head – Brand & Corporate Communications. Based in Bengaluru, Naair will lead the company’s global branding and communications efforts, reporting directly to CEO & MD Shreehas Tambe.

In her new role, Naair will be responsible for shaping Biocon Biologics’ brand positioning across global markets, covering areas such as media relations, digital strategy, corporate reporting, and employer branding. Her remit includes both regulatory communications and enhancing the company’s global corporate narrative.

Naair brings with her over 30 years of experience in brand and reputation management across India, ASEAN, and Australia. Before this, she served as Group Chief Marketing Officer at CK Birla Group, where she led several branding and transformation initiatives.

She replaces Seema Ahuja, who previously headed Communications for Emerging Markets and Corporate Brand. Ahuja, following her retirement, will move into a non-operational role in the office of Biocon’s Chairperson, working on special projects.

Welcoming Naair, Shreehas Tambe said, “Branding and communications play a pivotal role in shaping stakeholder perception, building trust, and translating corporate intent into meaningful narratives… I look forward to her leadership and expertise in shaping our global brand and communications strategy.”
