Engineers India Limited (EIL) announced the appointment of Ashok Kumar Kalra as Director (Commercial), with effect from June 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India vide its letter no. CA31018/1/2022-PNG (42982) dated 27.05.2022 (received on 31.05.2022) has communicated that the Competent Authority has approved the proposal for entrustment of additional charge of the post of Director (Commercial), Engineers India Limited to Shri Ashok Kumar Kalra, Director (HR), (DIN: 08698203) Engineers India Limited for a period of three months w.e.f 01.06.2022 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.”
A.K. Kalra is the Director (HR) of the Company. He has worked in various projects in the field of Refineries, Petrochemicals, Pipelines, Infrastructure, etc. After working for more than 21 years in Projects/ Construction, he has been associated with HR directorate since 2007.
Kalra has experience in various facets of HR functions viz. Manpower Planning, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Policy formulations, Grievance Redressal, Welfare, Administration, Training, Industrial Relations, Talent Retention etc. He has been involved in Formulating HR vision, Mission & Objectives, Organization Restructuring, Institutionalising Leadership Development Programme, Implementing Rajbhasha Policy and Transforming HR as a Strategic Partner in the company’s operations. He has made extensive contribution in digitization of HR Processes & Policies, Corporate Planning, Corporate Branding and CSR. He is a certified Workplace Coach and a Mentor.
