Emami Paper CEO to resign on April 1

Emami Paper has recently announced that PS Patwari will resign from the position of CEO w.e.f April 1, 2021. However, he will continue to act as the executive director of the company.

A statement made by the company with the regulatory filing said, “As per the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors at their meeting held on 19th March, 2021 has elevated Shri Vivek Chawla, Whole Time Director of the Company as Whole Time Director and CEO effective from 1st April, 2021.”

Vivek Chawla has over 35 years of experience across multi-facets of Organizations’ performance ranging from operations to management, sales and marketing to strategy and governance and logistics and commercial operations.

Emami Paper Mills Limited, part of the Emami Group of Industries has paper mills located at Balasore (Odisha) and Dakshineswar (W.B., Kolkata), and claims to be one of the most environment friendly paper mills in Eastern India.
