Engineers India Limited (EIL) announced the appointment of Sanjay Jindal, Executive Director (Finance), as Director (Finance), with effect from June 8, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform that Shri Sanjay Jindal, Executive Director (Finance), Engineers India Limited has been appointed as Director (Finance), Engineers India Limited vide Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas letter No. CA-31018/3/2019-PNG (30777) dated Sth June, 2022, for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of the charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders whichever is the earliest.”
Jindal joined EIL as Assistant Finance & Accounts Officer in 1992 and worked at various Project sites of EIL. He was transferred to Corporate Office in 1998 and handled all spectrums of Finance & Accounts Functions, especially facilitating Project execution from bidding stage to contract closure stage, Project Financing, Investments, Taxation, Implementation of Internal Financial Control Systems, Financial Reporting etc. Presently heading the Finance Division of Ell. Prior to current assignment, worked as CFO of Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, A Joint Venture Company incorporated by Engineers India Limited & National Fertilizers Ltd.
