Automotive battery maker Exide Industries Limited announced the appointment of Sridhar Gorthi to its Board, with effect from July 29, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (“NRC”), Mr. Sridhar Gorthi (DIN : 00035824) has been appointed as an Additional Director w.e.f. 29th July 2022 to hold such office up to the date of next Annual General Meeting of the Company.”
Sridhar Gorthi holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He is a partner at Trilegal. His areas of expertise at Trilegal include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital. He has been described as a ‘distinguished practitioner’ for mergers and acquisitions and private equity by Asialaw Profiles, the statement said.
