Fermenta Biotech Limited has appointed Prashant Nagre as Managing Director of the company, effective May 09, 2021. Also, Krishna Datla has been appointed as Executive Vice Chairman, effective May 09, 2021.
According to the Company’s exchange filing, “The Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 06, 2021, appointed Mr. Prashant Nagre as an Additional Director of the Company. He is also appointed by the Board as the Managing Director of the Company, subject to members’ approval. The members at the AGM, approved the appointment of Mr. Prashant Nagre as Director of the Company, not liable to retire by rotation. The members also approved appointment of Mr. Prashant Nagre as Managing Director of the Company for a period of 3 years w.e.f. May 9, 2021.”

The members at the AGM, approved the appointment of Mr. Krishna Datla as a Whole-time Director of the Company, designated as Executive Vice-Chairman, for a period of 3 years w.e.f. May 9, 2021,” the exchange filing said.
Nearly three decades in the pharmaceuticals industry, Prashant Nagre has in-depth experience across spheres encompassing the API business, production, Research and Development and regulatory compliances, the statement said.
Nagre has led corporate strategy, business operations and demand driven innovation for FBL’s three business verticals viz., Vitamin D and other APIs, Integrated Biotechnology and Environmental Solutions. He holds a master’s degree in management sciences, and also a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade (IIFT, New Delhi), besides a Degree in Pharmacy.
Datla has over 20 years of experience. He is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University.
