G.O.A.T Brand Labs appoints Saumitra Kumar as Head of Engineering, Product & Data

G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time) Brand Labs, a tech-driven aggregator of D2C brands, announced the appointment of Saumitra Kumar as the Head of Engineering, Product and Data.

Founded in 2021 by Rishi Vasudev and Rameswar Misra, G.O.A.T Brand Labs acquires and scales differentiated and exciting digitally-native brands in the lifestyle space (fashion, home, nutrition, beauty and personal care), helping them reach the next level of growth, the statement said.

With Saumitra joining the team, GOAT is looking to further boost its capabilities on the Tech front to scale these Digital-First brands, both in India and Globally, a statement said.

Co-founder & CEO, Rishi Vasudev, G.O.A.T Brand Labs commented on the appointment, “With 20 brands in our portfolio, I am confident that Saumitra’s appointment will prove invaluable as we continue to build more tech capabilities for our brands. In his prior stints, Saumitra has been associated with companies such as Amazon, Verizon and Sears Holding Corporations among others.

In my new role, I will be working with the team to create a suite of tech products that can help our brands grow exponentially.
