Knauf India has brought on board Gaunik Jeet Singh as its new Head of Marketing, as the company looks to deepen its brand presence in the Indian construction space.
Singh, an alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), comes with nearly two decades of experience in marketing and brand leadership. Before this move, he served as Category Head at Hero MotoCorp, where he was responsible for leading the marketing strategy for some of the company’s flagship categories. His earlier stints include roles at AkzoNobel (Dulux Paints), Airtel, and Spice Mobility.
At Knauf India, Singh will lead the company’s marketing efforts, focusing on brand visibility, multi-channel outreach, and communication strategies that align with both local market needs and Knauf’s global identity.
Speaking on his new role, Gaunik Jeet Singh said, “The brand has a strong foundation and there’s a real opportunity to build a deeper awareness and connect meaningfully with our stakeholders.”
Welcoming Singh to the team, Sumit Bidani, CEO of Knauf India, said, “His strong track record in building premium brands and leading high-impact campaigns makes him an excellent fit for Knauf India.”
The appointment comes as part of Knauf’s broader strategy to strengthen its positioning in India’s evolving construction sector, where innovation, speed, and sustainability are reshaping how building materials companies engage with developers and contractors.
Knauf, headquartered in Germany, has a global presence spanning over 90 countries and is known for its drywall systems, plasters, and insulation solutions. In India, the company has been steadily expanding its footprint to meet the growing demand for modern construction materials.
