Goodyear India Limited announced the appointment of Anup Karnwal as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company, effective 1st February 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Anup Karnwal (ICSI Membership No. A19786) as the Company Secretary, Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company of Goodyear lndia Limited w.e.f. February 01, 2022.”
Anup Karnwal is a company secretary and Law graduate having total 14+ years of work experience in Corporate legal & Secretarial matters. He has handled Secretarial compliance(s) of other geographies (Europe (UK, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Italy etc.), Asia ( Mauritius, China, Japan, South Korea etc.), Dubai and Australia. He is proficient in scrutinizing, inspecting and guiding in all legal/secretarial matters including Vendor contracts, Real Estate documents. Anup has sound knowledge of statutory compliance as per regulations of Company Law, SEBI LODR, FEMA, RBI and related Corporate laws, according to his LinkedIn page.
Goodyear’s presence in India is over 90 years old, with two plants, one each in Ballabgarh and Aurangabad. In the passenger car segment, Goodyear India supplies tyres to many of the leading Original Equipment Manufacturers.
