HDFC Life CIO Thomson Thomas resigns

HDFC Life Chief Information Officer Thomson Thomas has resigned from the role. Thomas served for over 19 years in several leadership positions in the company. 

Most recently, he was leading the IT vertical at the insurance company as Executive Vice President – Technology, according to his LinkedIn profile.

As CIO, Thomas developed the technology vision and strategy for HDFC Life including digital transformation. He also held the responsibility for the development of corporate standards, technology architecture, technology evaluation and transfer; client relation management, and setting technology with business goals and revenue streams.

Thomas has over 20 years of diversified experience in the IT, Networking & Communication industry. Prior to HDFC Life, he had a stint with companies like Hutchison Max Telecom (Currently Vodafone), and Crompton Greaves.

Thomas has accomplished higher education certifications from institutions such as ISB, IIM-A, and Columbia Business School.
