Hindustan Copper Limited appoints Sanjiv Singh as Director (Mining)

Hindustan Copper Limited announced it has appointed Sanjiv Kumar Singh, General Manager of NTPC Ltd., as Director (Mining), effective March 26, 2022.

According to the company’s exchange filing,”The Ministry of Mines, Government of lndia vide Order No. Met.3- 10/ 1 /2020-Meta[ lll dated 22.3.2022 (copy enctosed) has appointed Shri Sanjiv Kumar Singh, Additional General Manager, NTPC Ltd, as Director (Mining) in Hindustan Copper Ltd in the pay scate of Rs.1,80,000- 3,40,000/- from the date of his assumption of charge of the post titt the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.6.2026 or until further orders, whichever is eartier. Shri Sanjiv Kumar Singh has assumed the charge of the post of Director (Mining), Hindustan Copper Ltd today i.e. 26s March, 2072. Brief profite of Shri Singh is enctosed.”

Singh holds a vast experience of 14 years in NTPC Limited and a 20 years experience in Coal India Limited.

Sanjiv Singh holds an MBA from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Master’s degree in Opencast mine planning from IIT – Dhanbad (Indian School of Mines), and a B.Tech in Mining and Mineral Engineering from IIT-Dhanbad (Indian School of Mines).

Hindustan Copper Ltd. is a Government-owned corporation in the Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India.
