Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) announced the appointment of Yogendra Prasad Shukla, Deputy GM of NTPC Limited, as Director (Finance).
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Corporate announcement/intimation is hereby given that vide Govt. Order No.P51011/2/2020- CHEM.III-CPC dated 22nd June, 2022 the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India has appointed Shri Yogendra Prasad Shukla, Deputy General Manager – NTPC Limited to the post of Director (Finance) of Hindustan Organic Chemicals (HOCL) for a period of five (5) years w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or till further orders, whichever is the earliest.”
Shukla is a science graduate and professionally a Cost Accountant. He is currently heading the Finance Department of the 1,760 MW Tanda Thermal Power Project of NTPC Limited Located in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. He has a vast professional experience of more than 22 years having served in organisations like BEML and NTPC.
As Director (Finance) of HOCL, Shukla will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be in overall charge of the finance and accounts functions of the organisation and is responsible for evolving and formulating related policies and their implementation.
