Hyundai elevates Tarun Garg as Chief Operating Officer

Hyundai Motor India announced that Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service) has been elevated to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective from January 1, 2023.

Garg has been working with the carmaker since December 2019. Prior to that, he was associated with Maruti Suzuki for over 25 years, where he joined in 1994.

Gopala Krishnan CS, Vice President (Production), is elevated as Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) overseeing Production, Quality Management & Supply Chain.

Garg and Krishnan will continue to serve as Whole-time Directors on the HMIL Board, a statement said.
