IndiGo names Jiten Chopra as Chief Financial Officer

IndiGo, India’s biggest airline by market share, has announced the appointment of Jiten Chopra as Chief Financial Officer, effective from February 21, 2021. Chopra will directly report to Ronojoy Dutta, Whole Time Director and CEO of the company.

Chopra succeeds Aditya Pande who is “leaving IndiGo to pursue other interests” said a statement.

Chopra joined IndiGo in February 2020 as Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance. Prior to joining IndiGo, he had about 25 years of working experience at BSR & Co (KPMG) in Audit and Risk Management, Business Development, Operations and Transaction Services.

Chopra is an FCA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants, India (1995) and a CWA from Institute of Cost Accountants, India (1995).
