Intec Capital appoints Shalini Rahul as Independent Director

Intec Capital Limited, a Non-Banking Financial Institution in India, announced the appointment of Shalini Rahul as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Woman Director of the company, effective October 13, 2021.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform you that based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors have passed a Circular Resolution today, i.e. on 13th October, 2021, approving appointment of Ms. Shalini Rahul (DIN: 09357650) (Non-Executive Independent Woman Director)” on the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from 13th October, 2021 for a term of 5 (five) years, i.e., upto 12th October, 2026, subject to approval of the Shareholders of the Company.”

Shalini Rahul has done Ph.D (FPM) from Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, India. FDPM (Faculty Development Program in Management) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM A), and MBA (PJ Institute of Management and Economics, Agra University).

She is the Associate Editor – Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies journal since July 2021. She was awarded the prestigious ‘Dewang Mehta Award’ for the Best Teacher in General and Strategic Management. She is SEBI’s Certified Financial Education Resource Person – for conducting programs and workshops for investors. She completed Participant Centered Learning (Part 1) course – conducted by Harvard Business School. She attended Strategic Simulation Workshop at IIM – Ahmedabad, conducted by EnParadigm. She is a member of the Strategic Management Society, USA and Life time Member Case Research Society of India.
