Orient Green Power Company Ltd, an independent renewable power producer in India, announced the appointment of J Kotteswari as its new Chief Financial Office, effective from 1st April, 2020. J Kotteswari replaces K V Kasturi who was earlier handling the role of CFO.
Prior to this role, Kotteswari was the Vice President Finance and Accounts at M A Chidambaram Group. She was the CFO and a key member of the management team in SVL Ltd since January 2013.
J Kotteswari is a Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant with over 25 years of experience in Project Cost Management, Banking, Management Information Systems, Internal Audit, Review of Capex and Consolidation of financials, Treasury, and Cost control.
As per the company’s press statement, it said, “ Resignation of Mr. K V Kasturi, from the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company has been approved by the Board with effect from the close of the business hours of March 31, 2020. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Nomination & remuneration committee and Audit Committee the Appointment of Ms. J Kotteswari as Chief Financial Officer of the Company has been approved with effect from 1st April 2020.”
