Pharmaceutical company Jubilant Pharmova Limited announced the appointment of R. Kumar as Additional Director on the company’s Board, with effect from July 1, 2022. Also, the company appointed Naresh Kumar as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, with effect from August 1, 2022.
Kumar has 36 years of experience, both in the Indian and global markets. Prior to joining Jubilant, Kumar was associated majorly with SRF Limited and the Sanmar Group. Kumar has handled multiple functions such as Accounts, Finance, Indirect Taxation, Strategic Planning, M&A, Sales & Marketing, Global Sourcing and International Business Development. He has diverse experience in managing businesses in Technical Textiles, PVC & Plastics, Specialty Chemicals, Nutrition & Health Solutions and Pharma.
Kumar is working with Jubilant since 2014. He is President-Pharma & Head-API & CDMO. He oversees API business operations at Nanjangud, Karnataka.
Kumar is MBA from Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Graduate in General Laws and an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India. He has undergone senior management programs in ISB and IIM – B&C.
Naresh Kapoor is Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and ICSA, UK. He is also Bachelor of Laws from Delhi University.
Kapoor has 25 years of experience in Secretarial function of listed companies dealing with Corporate Governance, Joint Ventures, M&A, Listing/ SEBI regulations, Compliance Management System, Board procedures & policies, Shareholder meetings, ROC & Stock Exchange Compliances and the SEBI Insider Trading Regulations.
Kapoor has most recently worked with PI Industries Limited as Company Secretary. Naresh started his career with Apollo Tyres and later worked with companies like Dalmia, Espire Infolabs and Pearl Polymers where he managed Legal and Secretarial Department. He has strong expertise in M&A, QIPs with strong relationship with the regulators, stock exchanges, depositories and has implemented several digital initiatives in the function.
