Karnataka Bank appoints Venkat Krishnan V as Chief Information Officer

Private sector lender Karnataka Bank Limited announced the appointment of Venkat Krishnan V as Chief Information Officer of the bank, with effect from January 22, 2024.

According to the bank’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 and other applicable provisions of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform that the Bank has appointed Mr. Venkat Krishnan V as the Chief Information Officer of the Bank with effect from 22.01.2024. Details of the incumbent as per SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/2023/120 dated 11.07.2023 is furnished in Annexure.”

Venkat Krishnan V is an IT professional with 24 years of experience in Information Technology with focus mainly in Banking, Finance and Insurance domains. He has hands-on experience in setting up technology for a Bank, P&C (NonLife/General) Insurance Institution and Life Insurance “Grounds Up” involving complex migration and change management projects.
