KEC International appoints Vinayak Chatterjee to its Board

KEC International Limited, a Power transmission, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company, announced the appointment of Vinayak Chatterjee as an Additional Director to its Board of Directors, effective December 06, 2021.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr. Vinayak Chatterjee, (DIN: 00008933) as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non- Independent) effective from December 06, 2021.”

Vinayak Chatterjee graduated in Economics (Hons) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and has done his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Vinayak Chatterjee is the co-founder of Feedback Infra Private Limited. He has often been called upon to play a strategic advisory role to leading domestic and international corporates, the Government of India, various ministries dealing with infrastructure as well as multi and bilateral institutions in the areas of infrastructure policy, planning and implementation.

Currently he is the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII’s) ‘National Council on Infrastructure’. He is also on the Board of ACC Limited, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited and Indraprastha Medical Corporation Limited; and is a member of the Advisory Board of JCB India, the statement said.
