Kirloskar Pneumatic appoints Deepak Lokras as President

Kirloskar Group flagship firm Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited (KPCL) announced the appointment of Deepak Lokras as President, with effect from January 25, 2024.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that the Board in its meeting held today approved the appointment of Mr Deepak Lokras as President w.e.f. January 25, 2024 on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.”

Deepak Lokras is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University. He joined the Company as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in the ACR Projects Division in 1986. During his initial years, he successfully performed various roles in functions like Service, Projects Execution, Sales and Design. He was instrumental in establishing the Process Gas Business in 2003 and also making it the Company’s biggest division during the last 20 years. He is one of the most inspiring leaders in KPCL and encourages people to put in their best. He is highly respected across India in the Gas compression technology. This is his 37th year with KPCL and he is currently heading the Process Gas Division. He has been heading the R&D function for the last several years in which time the Company has successfully enhanced its Intellectual Property (IP) filing and new product development, according to the statement.
