Lara Bezerra to exit as Head of Roche India

Lara Bezerra, Head of Roche India, is leaving the company. She had joined Roche India in October 2017, after her stint as General Manager Product at Roche Venezuela SA. She has been serving as Managing Director for the Indian operations.

As per the company’s statement to media, cited in ET, “Dec. 1 will be the date for Lara to end the assignment. During her tenure at Roche India, Lara successfully led the organization with passion and commitment and shaped the culture of the organization.”

Her LinkedIn profile cites her designation as Chief Purpose Officer (Managing Director) Roche Pharma India. She has earlier worked with Bayer and Wyeth Biopharma. She has over 27 years of pharma industry experience across Europe, Latin America and Asia across various functions – marketing, sales, general management, business operations.

In India, she has also been a Board member of The Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI)  and Indian Innovative Pharmaceutical company Association.
