Route Mobile Limited, a publicly listed provider of cloud communications services, has announced several top-level changes following the resignation of CEO Gautam Badalia. His departure, effective July 17, comes amid a broader reshuffle across the company’s senior leadership.

Rajdipkumar Gupta, who has been serving as Managing Director, has now been re-designated as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 18, taking on the CEO’s responsibilities.

The company has also appointed Tejas Shah as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, designating him as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). Shah is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

In another senior move, Sammy Mamdani has been re-designated as Chief Operating Officer, stepping up from his previous role as Executive Vice President – Group Head – Global Operations.

Additionally, Vinay Binyala will take on the added responsibility of Investor Relations Officer, while continuing as Chief Strategy Officer. These changes were approved by the Board of Directors following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
