Lenovo India has roped in Ankur Poddar as HR Head for its Consumer Business and Lead – Culture & HR Operations, according to ETHRWorld report.
In this new role, Poddar will be based in Bengaluru and will be reporting to Bhavya Misra, CHRO, Lenovo India. Poddar comes with almost 15 years of HR experience.
Before joining Lenovo India, Poddar was working as HR Head – DTH & Broadband at Airtel. He has also worked as Corporate HR Manager – National Talent Acquisition at Marico; and Assistant Manager – Business HR at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Poddar believes that he has been fortunate to work across three different sectors in multiple roles.
“It has been a personally fulfilling journey to work closely with frontline teams and senior business stakeholders. My biggest learning has been to experience how technology has continuously disrupted businesses thus forcing HR to also evolve and step-up to meet the changing requirements,” he said.
