Lowe’s India elevates Vidya Munirathnam to VP – HR

Lowe’s India, the global capability centre of US-based home improvement company Lowe’s Inc., has promoted Vidya Munirathnam to Vice President – Human Resources.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take on a new role of Vice President Human Resources at Lowe’s India,” Munirathnam shared in a LinkedIn post.

Munirathnam has about 19 years of experience in different facets of human resources such as compensation, employee benefits, talent management, workforce planning, organisational development and employee engagement across semiconductor and retail sectors.

Prior to this promotion, Munirathnam was Senior Director – Human Resources at Lowe’s India. She has been associated with the company for four years. Previously, she worked at Target, Aditi Technologies and Texas Instruments.

Munirathnam holds an MBA in HR from Bangalore University, a Master’s in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, and a BE in Instrumentation & Electronics engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur.
