IT services company LTIMindtree Limited announced the appointment of Chetana Patnaik as Chief Human Resource Officer (Designate), with effect from April 1, 2024.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform that Mr. Manoj Shikarkhane, Chief Human Resource Officer (‘CHRO’) is moving to a new role within the Company and pursuant to the above, Ms. Chetana Patnaik who is currently Head – Human Resources & CSR for the Transportation Infrastructure business, an independent company of L&T, will assume the role of CHRO (designate) with effect from April 1, 2024.”
Chetana embarked on her journey with L&T in 2012, initially serving as the Head of Strategic Leadership Talent Acquisition as part of A.M. Naik’s & S.N. Subrahmanyan’s Office in Mumbai. In this role she, built the leadership talent pipeline for L&T Group including the Executive Board of the listed entities, succession planning, and facilitating the Mentoring Programs for Naik and Subrahmanyan.
In October 2020, she ascended to the position of Head – Human Resources & CSR for the Transportation Infrastructure business, an independent company of L&T. In this role, she takes care of the entire gamut of HR function for a workforce of 6000+, which includes creating a future ready talent pipeline, strengthening the bottom of the pyramid, focused learning, and development interventions across levels along with creating a culture of inclusion and learning through emphasis on organization development and diversity initiatives. She was the HR representative during acquisition of Mindtree Limited by L&T and subsequently supported in building the initial leadership team. She had also played an active role in the HR integration of LTI and Mindtree, as per the statement.
Prior to joining L&T, Chetana was associated with GVK Group, Reliance Infrastructure and Gati Ltd. She brings with her a rich experience of over 27 years in various fields of Human Resources function.
She holds a graduation in Mathematics (Honours) & Economics and MBA from Berhampur University. She is a Thomas Profile certified, an Executive Coach from CFI and has recently completed the OD Certification Programme from NTL, UK
