Alkem Laboratories Limited announced the appointment of Madhurima Singh to its Board of Directors, effective December 20, 2021.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors (“Board ‘) of Alkem Laboratories Limited (the’ Company”) at its meeting held today i.e. on 20th December, 2021 has appointed Mrs. Madhurima Singh (DIN: 09137323) as an Additional Director and Whole Time Director designated as Executive Director on the Board for a period of five years, with effect from 20th December, 2021, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.”
Madhurima Singh holds Post Graduate Degree in MSc (Botany) with distinction from Ranchi University and specialization in Plant Pathology and Genetics. She has completed her Diploma in entrepreneurship from SVKM’s Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic Institute and also holds a B.A (first class) in Astronomy from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Mumbai University.
Singh is currently undergoing ‘PhD m Microbial and Molecular Genetics’. Singh is presently serving as a Director of the “Maaiya Social Change Front Foundation” working for the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of the society, the statement said.
