Bharti Airtel, has announced top level restructuring. Effective 1st March 2013, Manoj Kohli would take over as the Managing Director of the company. Presently he is JMD & CEO for Bharti Airtel’s International operations. Sunil Mittal, presently the MD & Chairman, will be re designated as Chairman.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Gopal Vittal, presently Director – Special Projects, would be taking over as CEO of Bharti Airtel – India effective 1st March 2013. He was named CEO, post resignation of Sanjay Kapoor. Gopal Vittal, would also be designated as Joint Managing Director of the company.
