MIRC Electronics Limited announced the appointment of Prasad Oak as Head – Legal, Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company, effective December 24, 2021.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we hereby inform that the Board of Directors of the Company at the Board Meeting held on December 23, 2021 has appointed Mr. Prasad Oak as Head- Legal, Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary (Key Managerial Personnel) and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from December 24, 2021.”
Prasad Oak is a Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India & Commerce and Law graduate. Prasad Oak has overall experience of more than 18 years and independently handling and leading Company Secretarial functions and Legal matters for 15 years, the statement said.
MIRC is a consumer electronics goods company that manufactures the Onida brand of colour televisions (CTVs), Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, TV-Components & Spares and Electronic Tuners. The company has two subsidiary companies Akasaka Electronics Ltd. and Imercius Technologies (India) Ltd.
