Modicare ropes in Dabur’s Head IT Tarun Anand as CIO

Modicare, an Indian brand in consumer items such as cosmetics, nutrition, wellness, has roped in Tarun Anand as CIO, according to ETCIO report.

Tarun has moved on from Dabur India where he had been leading IT and Digital transformation as Head-Global IT. 

In this new role, Anand is expected to manage IT and introduce tech use cases for business benefits.

Anand is a global IT leader with over 25 years of experience in the FMCG, Retail, and Direct Selling industries. Prior to joining Modicare, he has served a stint of over 4 years at Dabur India as Head-Global IT. At Dabur, he has worked on various IT projects and also focused on partnering with leadership teams to identify digital transformation opportunities. He has also developed and centrally administered a portfolio of heterogeneous digital initiatives.

Anand is a seasoned IT professional and has worked with companies like Oriflame, Mother Dairy where he has spent over 13 years. He has a Global CIO certification from the Indian School Of Business and possesses leadership skills for replacing manual processes with automation and advanced analytics to drive cost savings and revenue growth.
