Personal finance portal MoneySmart has appointed Tina Sharma as the Head of People.
In her new role, Sharma will be responsible for driving the company’s global People strategy. Previously, Sharma was associated with State Bank of India, Singapore for almost 11 years, most recently as Senior Vice President and Head – Human Resources. She has also worked with organisations like The Asian Banker; the National Kidney Foundation, Singapore; and IBM.

Tina is a seasoned HR professional with a wealth of leadership experience in developing and implementing effective HR strategies alongside talent development of employees. She will be driving the Company’s Global People strategy that’s in line with our vision, values and business objectives,” according to the company’s LinkedIn page.
Expressing gratitude to SBI for her professional and personal growth, Sharma posted on LinkedIn, “It was not easy to say goodbye to a place that truly helped in my personal and professional growth. I’m thankful to my leaders, team, and colleagues for believing in me and giving me several opportunities to learn and grow within the Bank.”
Furthermore, Sharma expressed the excitement of joining the new role at Money Smart to work with new leaders and colleagues and wrote, “It is great to work for an organisation that has a resounding commitment in empowering people to make smarter financial decisions.”
With over 16 years of experience, Sharma has a specialisation in translating business vision into HR initiatives that improve performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement.
Sharma holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Mumbai.
