National Fertilizers Limited announced the appointment of Dr. Prathibha A as an Additional Director (Part-time Government Nominee Director), with effect from August 3, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we are pleased to inform you that Dr. Prathibha A. has been appointed as an Additional Director (part time Government Nominee Director) on the Board of the Company w.e.f. 03.08.2022 in terms of Order No.95/1/2019-HR-PSU dated 201 h July, 2022 issued by Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India (copy of order enclosed).”
Dr. Prathibha A. was born on 23ra March. 1978. She has done her Ph.D. In Economics from University of Kerala, Kariavattom . She is a member of Indian Economic Service (Batch: 2003). Prior to her appointment as Government Nominee Director on the Board of NFL, She was Director in the Ministry of Finance, Member of Development of North Eastern Region and had wide ranging experience working in various Ministries/ Departments such as NITI Aayog, Department of Economic Affairs, Member of Finance, Department of Consumer Affairs, New Delhi, Central Board of Film Certification. Trivandrum etc. Presently, she is working as Economic Advisor, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. Govt. of India, New Delhi.
She has done specialization in the areas of Development Economics, Fisheries Management, Prices, Poverty alleviation, Public Private Partnerships Infrastructure Development etc., a statement said.
