NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE, announced the appointment of K.P Mahadevaswamy as Director (Commercial), with effect from February 1, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “it is informed that Shri K. P Mahadevaswamy (DIN: 10041435) has assumed the charge of Director (Commercial)- NBCC (India) Limited, in terms of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) vide Office Order No.: O-17034/24/2021-PS (E-9112145), dated January 31, 2023, w.e.f February 01, 2023.”
K.P Mahadevaswamy joined NBCC (India) Ltd. on 5th September 2005 as Dy. General Manager (Engg.) & subsequently climbed up the ladders of success to become Director (Commercial).
Swamy earned his Degree in Civil Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore University with 1st class distinction in the year 1990 and then pursed his Master’s Degree from SVNIT, Surat and Executive Programme in Leadership & Management (EPLM) from IIM Calcutta.
Having varied experience spanning over 30 years in the field of Civil engineering in various positions, Swamy has spearheaded critical departments in various capacities such as Law Section, Business Development Division, HRM Division, Tender Division and Finance Division etc. and has handled high value State-of-the-Art Civil Engineering projects – Construction works of Hospitals, Educational Institution Buildings, Indo-Pak Border Fencing works, Gosikhurd Irrigation project etc. Thereafter, he was elevated to the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), a Subsidiary of NBCC, wherein under his leadership the company achieved the first time operating profit in last one decade.
Before assuming charge of Director (Commercial), he was working as RBG Head of Hon’ble Supreme Court Monitored “Amrapali Works” & New Moti Bagh Maintenance Works.
