Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database and analytics company, has appointed Ish Thukral as General Manager for the India and SAARC region. Thukral, an experienced enterprise technology leader with two decades in the industry, will be based in New Delhi and will focus on expanding Neo4j’s business, deepening customer relationships, and strengthening the partner ecosystem in the region.
The appointment comes as demand for graph technology and connected data solutions is accelerating, particularly as enterprises increasingly turn to knowledge graphs to power artificial intelligence initiatives.
Thukral brings a strong background in scaling high-growth businesses and developing effective go-to-market strategies. Prior to joining Neo4j, he held leadership positions at AWS, Oracle, and Ingram Micro, where he was recognized for driving sales growth, customer success, and ecosystem expansion.
This strategic hire follows Neo4j’s establishment of an official entity in India in 2024 and the ongoing expansion of its revenue team with key new roles in field and partner operations as part of its 2025 regional expansion strategy. The expanded team aims to capitalize on the growing adoption of graph technology across various sectors in India and SAARC, including BFSI, the public sector, and telecommunications. This technology is being used to leverage connected data for improved outcomes in critical use cases such as fraud detection, cybersecurity, customer 360, and various AI-powered solutions.
