Panacea Biotec Limited, one of India’s leading Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Company, has announced key managerial appointments in its top-level leadership.
Susheel Umesh has been appointed as Chief Executive – Domestic Formulations. He has an experience of over 27 years and has earlier been with Sanofi and Abbott. He was Managing Director, and General Manager – Specialty Care at Abbott, and prior to that he was Chairman & General Manager of East & Southern Africa for Sanofi. He has had a long stint at Sanofi with over 22 years in various roles across multiple geographies.
Ankesh Jain, Director – Sales & Marketing – who was directly looking after the domestic formulations business earlier will now focus on growing company’s formulations business internationally, with special focus on emerging markets, besides development and launch of new products in existing export markets.
The company has also announced the elevation of Dr. Rajeeva Kumar Mangalum as Chief Operating Officer for the Pharmaceutical Operations and Dinesh Singla as Senior Vice President- Pharma Research & Pharma Regulatory Affairs.
