Former CTO of jewellery retailer Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri, Pooraan Jaiswal, has joined Entero Healthcare as the Chief Information Officer. He will report to Prem Sethi, COO of Entero Healthcare.
Entero Healthcare is a Mumbai-based startup that focuses on the healthcare industry’s supply chain. The company has a pan India distribution network, servicing more than 50,000 pharmacies, selling medicines of more than 150 top pharma companies.
Most recently, Jaiswal left TBZ after a three-year-long stint. Prior to joining TBZ, Jaiswal was CTO at Globus. Prior to that, Jaiswal worked with companies like Rediff.com and NIIT Technologies.
Commenting on his appointment, Jaiswal, said, “When you want to work more, you join a startup and when you want to just capitalize on your past experience you join a bigger brand or bigger company. Everyone has their own way of choosing the career path and the definition of success too differs from person to person.”
Jaiswal holds a PhD from Marymount University, Virginia, USA. He completed his Bachelors in Mathematics from Mumbai University and Masters in Technology from Manipal University.
