Aakash Educational Services (AESL) has appointed Pradeep Kumar Singh as Chief Technology Officer.
In this role, Singh will lead the technology function and further build the technology team to drive the digital transformation of AESL, according to a statement.
His appointment comes at a time when AESL is expanding its physical footprint of centres and transforming towards a ubiquitous hybrid experience and personalized learning, the statement said.
Singh has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and software development space. Prior to this role, Singh was associated with Naukri.com as Executive Vice President. In his previous stints, Singh also held senior positions at Amazon and Adobe Systems.
AESL is also looking to hire a significant number of talent to be a part of its digital journey, the statement added.

Singh holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and Technology from IIT Roorkee.
