Airtel Payments Bank appoints Pradeep Rangi as Chief Risk Officer. He would report to the Risk Committee of Airtel Payments Bank.
In this new role, Pradeep will be spearheading the strategic risk management initiatives and lead the Legal, Operational Risk, and Information Security verticals.
Pradeep brings with him over 17 years of international work experience and a deep understanding of global best practices in risk management with financial services and petroleum firms across markets.
“His expertise would help us to further strengthen our risks and control framework as we scale for the next level of growth,” the company wrote on its LinkedIn page.
Prior to joining the bank, Pradeep was with Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA.
