Punjab National Bank Limited announced the appointment of Jatinder Singh Bajaj as Shareholder Director of the Bank, with effect from October 6, 2023.
According to the Bank’s exchange filing, “Further to our intimation dated 27.09.2023, the Exchange is hereby informed that Shri Jatinder Singh Bajaj has assumed office as a Shareholder Director of the Bank under Section 9(3)(i) of the Banking Companies (Acquisitions and Undertakings) Act, 1970 on 06.10.2023 for a period of three years.”
Jatinder Singh Bajaj has been elected as Shareholder Director on the Board of the Bank with effect from 06.10.2023 to 05.10.2026. Shri Bajaj is currently posted as Zonal Manager In-Charge (in the cadre of Executive Director), Northern Zone of the Life Insurance Corporation of India.
Bajaj holds a Post Graduate Degree in the field of Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. With a strong leadership quality, marketing acumen and technical expertise, he connects easily with all team members.
