Rajeev Misra to step down as Corporate Officer of SoftBank

SoftBank Group Corp. (SBG) announced that Rajeev Misra will step down from the position of Corporate Officer and Executive Vice President of SBG, effective from August 31, 2022.

Misra will continue to serve as CEO of SB Investment Advisers which manages SoftBank Vision Fund 1, a statement said.

Rajeev was previously a Senior Managing Director and Partner at Fortress Investment Group. Prior to that, he served as the Global Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities at UBS between 2009 and 2013, and Global Head of Credit and Emerging Markets at Deutsche Bank between 1997 and 2008, where he built a successful global fixed income business from scratch; recruiting and mentoring many employees.

Rajeev received a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

The SoftBank Group is comprised of the holding company SoftBank Group Corp. and its global portfolio of companies, which includes advanced telecommunications, Internet services, AI, smart robotics, IoT and clean energy technology providers. In September 2016, Arm Limited, the world’s leading semiconductor IP company, joined the SoftBank Group.
