Bharat Gears Limited, a global manufacturer and exporter of Gears and Furnaces, announced the appointment of Bharat Nanda as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the company, effective December 29, 2021.
According to the exchange filing, “this is to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company through its resolution passed through circulation on December 29,2021 considered and approved the appointment of Mr. Raman Nanda as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive lndependent Director of the Company, to hold the office till the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company.”
Raman Nanda, aged 65 years, is a Bachelor in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University-Gold Medalist and Master of Business Administration from lndian lnstitute of Management, Ahmedabad with a specialization in Finance. He is having a rich experience of 45 years.
He has served in various renowned Companies like Gestamp, Tata Autocomp Systems, Murugappa Group, Usha Martin Black, Tega lndustries etc, the company said in its statement.
He is founder and CEO, Step Transformations since 2O2O having an objective of serving the business community by helping people and businesses grow. He is also a Visiting Faculty at Flame University, Pune, it added.
