Senior consultant Romal Shetty has been nominated CEO-designate of Deloitte India, according to ET Bureau report.
The nomination committee, after considering multiple candidates, zeroed in on Shetty, who leads Deloitte’s consulting practice in India. The next step is for its Indian equity partners to confirm his candidacy, the report mentioned.
On April 1 next year Shetty will take over the corner office from incumbent N Venkatram.
Shetty joined the firm from KPMG in 2016 along with a bunch of senior partners and more than 300 associates.
