S Balasubramanian, has resigned as the CFO for Bharti Infratel. A Bharti venteran of over 15 years, he had taken over as CFO for Bharti Infratel, in August 2018. Earlier he was Business Head – Post Merger Integration, at Bharti Airtel, and was responsible for the complete integration of Telenor with Airtel – including – Customers, Network, IT, Distribution, Vendors, People.
In a statement the company said – “S Balasubramanian, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has expressed his intention to explore professional opportunities outside the Bharti Group and has tendered his resignation effective from closing of the business hours on December 5, 2019.”
Balasubramanian had joined Bharti Airtel in 2005, as was PFO for Karnataka Circle, and subsequently held several finance leadership roles like Global Financial Controller and Head of Shared Services. Over his over 28 years’ of career he has handled global and large scale operations in India, Middle East and Africa. Prior to Bharti, Balasubramanian had been with some of these leading brands – Pepsi, Eicher, Sify, Hutch and Coke.
