Sandeep Girotra (ex Convergys) has taken over as Sr. Vice President and Global Head – HR for Ranbaxy.
Sandeep is a graduate from TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) and Hindu College. In his previous role he had a short stint with Convergys. He had joined Convergys last year in July 2011 as Head of Human Resources for its customer management operations in India, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Earlier he has worked with GE Capital Asia Pacific as Director – Human Resources and Learning & Development Leader, Asia Pacific, with GE Money Hundai Captal JV, Korea as Vice President HR, with GE Money Asia and Organisation and Staffing Leader, and with GECIS (now Genpact) as AVP – HR. He has also worked with like SIEL Ltd and DuPont.
