Shoppers Stop appoints Rajan Sharma as Customer Care Associate & Chief of Private Brands

Fashion-focussed multi-brand retail chain, Shoppers Stop announced the appointment of Rajan Sharma as Customer Care Associate & Chief of Private Brands, with effect from November 20, 2023.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulations 16 (2) (d) and 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you the changes in the Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company as follows: (i) Appointment of Mr. Rajan Sharma as Customer Care Associate & Chief of Private Brands of the Company w.e.f November 20, 2023.”

Rajan Sharma, aged 53 years is a seasoned buying and sourcing specialist with a rich background in managing operations for renowned retailing and wholesaling organizations.

Having worked with esteemed brands and retailers in the U.S. and Europe, including Limited Express, Lane Bryant, Liz Claiborne, Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Tailor, Walmart, JC Penney and Vishal Mega Mart, Sharma brings a deep understanding of customer aspirations and expectations. His last assignment was with V-Mart Retail Ltd., where he was holding the position of Head of Buying and Sourcing.
